HELPING OTHERS

If you would like to share in any way in the ministry of the parish please contact Fr Philip, Fr Andrew or Sr Kathleen.

Mother of mercy

The mother of mercy is a parish based outreach group to the homeless on the streets of Liverpool. The group was founded by Paul Callaghan over a year ago in St Patrick's my previous parish. Twice a week Tuesdays from here and Thursdays from St Pats we travel into the city to distributue food and hot drinks. Our days always begin and are sustained with prayer . We begin with Mass followed by adoration of the Blessed Sacrament which ends at 3pm with divine mercy prayers. The group has grown in numbers and has recieved many graces. As a priest it has been a wonderful experience for me to accompany the group and to pray with our homeless brothers and sisters. If you feel this kind of outreach is for you please feel free to contact us

Alternatively you might like to support this project through donations.  We have enlisted the support of a charity (the Dove Trust) that is  dedicated to quality advice about personal and corporate charitable giving, online, and by telephone or post. If you want to make an online payment to this project, it is possible to donate online using most major cards including visa, cirrus, maestro, connect, delta, mastercard, amex.
